It was 1992 at the age of 8, when I got my first skateboard while on vacation in Florida. Little did I know that trip would change my life forever.
Back in my small coastal town in Connecticut I spent my early years pioneering a love hate relationship with that piece of wood.
I learned to challenge, to persevere, and even doubt with my skateboard. I built some of my best friendships and made some challenging mistakes as well. One of which was taking a 16-year hiatus.
But thanks to my kids, I resurfaced my love of skateboarding, and promise to never lose the stoke again! My biggest joy in skateboarding right now is seeing kids succeed and challenge themselves. Passing the pure enjoyment and collectively succeeding is the stoke I’m searching.
All in all, Skateboarding has my heart, and I am forever dedicated to pass the stoke!
