The Heart of Stoke Foundation is a reputable nonprofit organization committed to making a positive impact in the lives of underserved children through the provision of no-cost skateboard equipment. Founded on the belief that every child should have access to the opportunities and joys of skateboarding, we strive to break down barriers and create a more inclusive skateboarding community.

At our core, we are driven by the desire to empower children by giving them the tools they need to discover their passion for skateboarding. We firmly believe that skateboarding not only promotes physical activity and coordination but also fosters creativity, self-expression, and resilience. By offering no-cost skateboard equipment, we aim to eliminate financial barriers that may prevent children from experiencing the transformative power of skateboarding.

Our dedicated team of volunteers and supporters work tirelessly to raise funds and collect gently used and new skateboarding equipment through various initiatives and partnerships. Through our meticulous selection process, we ensure that all equipment provided is safe and of high quality, guaranteeing the utmost safety and enjoyment for the children we serve.

The Heart of Stoke Foundation takes pride in our commitment to equity and inclusivity. We prioritize reaching out to underserved communities, including those facing financial constraints, limited resources, or geographical isolation. By actively engaging with community organizations, schools, and local skateboarding communities, we identify children who would benefit most from our assistance and ensure that our resources are distributed equitably.

We firmly believe that by nurturing the passion for skateboarding in underserved children, we are not only providing them with a recreational outlet but also empowering them with the skills and confidence to succeed in all areas of life. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of these children and inspire a new generation of skateboarders.

We want to make every effort possible to ensure that any child who wants to skate has the opportunity.  We understand that many are left behind because of the cost associated with being a beginning skater.  We want to lift that burden from parents and kids who need it.  We are trying to provide skateboards, safety equipment, and lessons for every child leaning on the fence watching or asking to borrow a board.

We do this because we've been there.  The world, as it stands, isn't the easiest place to grow up, and we know that.  Skateboarding has always been an outlet for us, and we want to share that with anyone who feels like it could be for them as well.  Our first boards were stoked to us by older skaters, and it changed our lives.  Skateboarding enhances a child's creativity and teaches them to set and achieve goals which builds confidence.  All of this bleeds over into other areas of their life.  We want to be a catalyst for change.  We will be a catalyst for change.
